Aquaphor Original Ointment - Easy To Apply And Works Well

We were recommended to try Aquaphor by our pediatrician when our, then 3 month old, developed dry, flaky skin on his back. Since then, every time after bathing him, we applied Aquaphor to his skin, especially to the back, where the problem started. We would wipe him with a towel first, then apply the ointment to his dry skin. We still do it and he seems to like the process.

Results

Not only did the dryness and flakiness go away within a week, we haven't seen it since. We are still using the same Johnson's Head-to-Toe Baby Wash and same washing technique with the same frequency so obviously Aquaphor helped. Not only that, it made our son's skin smoother and softer. It seems to hydrate really well.

Information About Aquaphor

The 14-oz plastic tub container is sturdy and convenient to use. The ointment is easy to scoop out with your hand. The ointment is fragrance-free and contains no preservatives. It is hype-allergenic and non-comedogenic. It is claimed to heal dry, cracked, or irritated skin. The description states it is recommended by Pediatricians. It definitely was recommended by ours and it worked.

Pros: Works well to heal dry, flaky skin and other issues, easy to apply.
Cons: Price.

Bottom Line

Aquaphor really works. It heals dry, cracked, flaky skin and makes it smooth and hydrated. I highly recommend it.
